What to do at Olive Garden

  • Far-niente (the Italian art of doing 'nothing')

The ultra-comfy swings and hammocks in nature are great for reading novels or to settle for a snooze. The outdoor jacuzzi and the heated pool are great favourites too. On a clear night, gaze the stars and enjoy the wonders of the universe.

A little something

Join Gina's Nia classes and tone your body or meet Fernand at the restaurant and replenish your soul...

A little more of something

Olive Garden is a 117 ha of olive farm with its own private walking trail (45 min) up to Kranskop Mountain, where Klaasvoogd west meets Klaasvoogd east. This is a lovely walk and can be combined with leisurely strolls in the extensive garden.

Activities in the valley

There are many exciting things to do in the surrounding area, from a laid-back river cruise to energising mountain hikes, wine & dining, historical sightseeing and getting lost in the largest labyrinth in the wold.

Golf, horse-riding, game drives, art, 4x4 trails and paragliding are all part of the activities that can be enjoyed in the valley. The local farm stalls abound with fresh produce, so you might want to stock up before you head back home. And the lovely towns of Bonnievale, McGregor and Montagu are only a stone's throw away.
